Logo designed for an independent custom clothing company. Featured is an animation of their logo, but where it is seen the most is on their custom clothing. Below are different options for the logo that did not get picked.

My thought process behind this design was that it needed to be a certain width to be able to be printed on clothing but also embroidered. My client was looking for a simple geometric design that is versatile for men and woman. As you can see in some of the options I incorporated a needle in the D to represent a custom clothing company in a somewhat hidden form. The client was thrilled with the outcome and surprised by how well the animation came out.

I work personally with an entrepreneur community to continuously create content for their instagram. Our conversations started with a logo, they needed a name for their team. We discussed options for the name and once they were final on the name I started to dig into the design. There were a bunch of different typographic options presented to them, as you can see in the proofs below. They were thrilled with they one they chose because it looks clean, simple, put together and straight to the point.

Working with them, I am free to design the way I believe looks best. I use the three colors in the logo to create a pattern on the instagram page. As you can see in the image below, I post a design and a photo every other time, but I also sequence the three colors in a line so that the design is extremely clean and the colors show up in columns. While working as a project manager for this company, my role was to design their logos and packaging. Here you can see three separate logos created for a start up growing and distribution company. Potluck Valley Farms is their company name, Headies is their high end product and Smokehouse is their affordable product. Here you will also find an animation of the logos, a photo of the finished packaging and different proof options for the packaging.

Logo and animation designed for an independent film production company. The animation is used before Nihilist Media’s films and the logo is put on anything they are associated with. My client was looking for a retro style typographic look.

A design completed while working at Noreast Custom Apparel. The company that ordered this print asked for a quick t-shirt design and ending up liking the R treatment so much that they rebranded their logo to one of these designs and plans to use the rest of the options for shirts in the future.

Every year Keene State College runs an Alternative Break program that provides students with the opportunity to do community service in and outside of the community. This type of program is very common in colleges and has been extremely successful at Keene State College. Each year there is a new t-shirt that is given out to each team member doing community service. The bright green Volkswagen was the branding piece I designed for the 2017’s community service trips. The poster was created to highlight the variety of opportunities that the program offers, and to influence students to apply. There were eleven trips in total this year going to a number of places in the United States for spring and winter break. The itinerary booklet is a reference for any important information to know before going on a service trip. The information in this itinerary was specifically designed for the participants going on the Disaster Relief trip to New Orleans, Louisiana.

Crossfit Lowell is a local gym that needed a new design for their Tshirts. They were looking for a grunge textured badge so I stuck with those options for them.

The next design was made for the 2019 super bowl. The clients came from a gym. They printed a lot of these t-shirts, gave some to their gym members and sold the rest.

Johnny Hammersticks was designed for Boston Marathon runners. This gym team was running for the cause, and a specific person. They wanted the bruins colors and to be represented as strong. The illustration was not created by me, it was purchased online.

One Hit Wonder is a volleyball team that gets together at a local gym. They needed jerseys for their games and were interested in an 80’s style design. They also wanted me to incorporate a volleyball and Massachusetts in as well.

Titan Barbell was looking for a bold Tshirt design that POPS. Lastly, Crossfit Reach loved all the designs, they plan on using them for new Tshirts to come.

Northeast Turf Solutions is a landscaping company I worked closely with to rebrand their logo while working at Noreast Custom Apparel. He loved the compass concept and was interested in all of the proofs, but had to choose with just one of course. He decided to go with the compass. The company’s emphasis on detoxing your body by using the right vitamins is shown through the clean, minimalistic package labeling. It is inspired by the classic early 19th century apothecary bottles. This aesthetic will supply the viewer with a welcoming feeling. These hot sauces are 100% organic, so anyone can try it. Success Stories is a fictional nonprofit organization that focuses on supporting and rebuilding a community. They offer a variety of different opportunities to donate, get involved, and benefit from their services. Their building is located in New York City, which is the largest area in America that struggles with extreme measures of poverty and homelessness. They work with the homeless by providing a clean and comfortable place to stay in exchange for their time helping out the organization.  We also host fundraisers to raise awareness and promote change in a struggling community. Our focus is based on creating a positive atmosphere for people in need of guidance, by also holding them responsible for their own success. Anyone can benefit from our variety of opportunities that we offer. Our purpose for creating this company is to get involved with the personal issues of struggling, low class citizens, and shifting their problems into something meaningful.

This design was created in less than 3 days. A complete card set hand crafted. My inspiration for these cards are from my travels abroad in Italy. I didn’t have service on my phone most of the time, it made me want something with a map to tell me where the cool spots in Florence were, so I created it myself.

This calendar is designed using the inspiration of architecture and birthstones. It is a colorful reminder of how important architecture is in our lives. Take out each month, one at a time, and experience what’s inside. Scribble notes on it, rip off the pages each day and interact with the beautiful sculptured building right on your work desk. The perfect gift for yourself!

My interest in architecture really brought this product to life. I wanted to create something unique and enjoyable to interact with that was related to architecture. So I paired it with birthstones and got amazing carved walls with stain glass features out of it. This product was created in only a few days and I worked on it with a partner.

At the end of every year there is a portfolio review for the seniors in the graphic design department. As part of the Design Center independent study, a group of 4 students promoted an exhibition for the students. The whole brand was designed based off of a fragmented and pieced together typeface. We used this font to create eye catching patterns to draw attention. This typeface was also reconstructed into identity faces that were assigned to each graduating student.

My role was very heavy in this project, I was the creator of the patterns, faces, t-shirt, posters and banners. Other students put together the typeface and an animation.

A team of 6 students promoted the exhibition for our senior portfolio review day. As being the creative director and project coordinator for this exhibition, my role was to create a strict branding identity that can be used in any platform. This entails not only designing a functioning system, but also working with the clients (graphic design seniors) to ensure that the guidelines will please everyone. After collaborating with another creative director, we formed an identity called Twenty Six. The concept is a timeline: starting from our first college year and taking us through the process of us evolving as designers. The number comes from the total students in the exhibition. We chose this concept because we want people who are not design affiliated to understand how we, graphic designers, work.

This book was designed to resemble a magazine. EULA stands for End User License Agreement, which is the document of text that people commonly do not read before signing any agreement. For this magazine, students took the terms and agreement from commonly used companies such as Facebook, Pandora, and Uber to completely redesigned the documents. Our goal is to turn boring text into a visually appealing spread that would be enjoyable for anyone to read. The reasoning behind this process is to highlight disturbing text that is hidden in these documents. I decided to stick with circles throughout my pandora spread because it reminds me of CD’s and Vinyl.

Orion’s Observatory is a fictional astronomy research center based in Boston, Massachusetts. They focus on educating about the importance of space study. The observatory recently started hosting special movie showings every Saturday afternoon. The promotion of this event is shown through two different posters. One poster is a general design stating that the observatory now offers movie times. The second poster is focused on a specific movie that was being played for a specific month. A moon calendar is provided after purchase of a decorated movie ticket. The motion design is a promotional piece for social media platforms. This animation and poster changes every month, depending on the movie of the month. Scroll to the bottom to see the beginning stages of some designs.

This exhibition was a collective project, branded through an independent study. Our mission was to advertise for the entire Graphic Design department. The exhibition was designed by a group of 7 students, with the art direction of a graphic design professor. The purpose of this show was to highlight the process of a graphic design student's work throughout the course of 4 years. We split up the designer's work into categories and themed each room based on the foundations, advanced work, book design, and motion pieces.

Duties done for this project consisted of collecting student's artwork, branding and promoting the exhibition through print and social media. As well as designing the layout of each exhibition poster, display measurement, setup, and take down for the show. The show was a hit! Nothing had ever been designed the way our show was presented in the Carroll House Gallery before.
